i feel like north broward offered more to me than i did to it. I became more complete, open minded, diverse, and etc. When i came into north broward i was a kid that was ignorant and thought he knew everything. I learn that keeping an open mind and taking in constructive criticism gets you way further in life. The people i surrounded myself with here i thought i'll never come in contact with. My first day i came in the classroom and looked around and said " I do not belong here." I got a vibe that i wouldn't be accepted but i was the one not accepting them. So i became an asshole for no reason. These last few years i treated people bad and got labeled as an ass. That isn't me but i am glad i encountered that time in life and see i have to change. The best teacher didn't have a Mr. or Mrs it was experience. It was the best teaching method for me. That was the best way i learned as a student in north broward. When i look back on everything that happen these four years i became smarter because of it. I would not change anything.

Mindset or attitude blog 24

In my life right now, I have a lot of things going on. What I have to do right now is handle high school. I have to handle high school because if I do not I will not be able to attend my college choice. The real reason why I have to get this done is because I want to play college football so bad. This will be the stepping stone to my future success. Every time I feel that things are going tough, I read a quote from Martian Luther King which says ““The ultimate measure of a Man is not where He stands in moments of comfort and convenience. But where He stands at times of challenge and controversy.” This makes me think to myself I have to grind to get mine. That saying nothing comes easy in life is true and I take it to heart. The quote exemplifies what I feel who is a go getter in life. So I feel like my theme is a go getter. A go getter gets the job done and wants to go get whatever they want. Only a few people get this quality when they are born. That is what separate the greats from the norm. For example Martian Luther King was a go getter. He was one because he did things for the African American community that gave those rights finally. This was huge during the time period he accomplished this. So he had the mindset of a go getter. I feel like everybody could get that mind set but you have to train yourself to do it. So I feel like if I have this mindset throughout college I could accomplish anything that would be in front of me. I feel like I would make my dreams to reality if I get this mindset.

I think we should write about how to tell a true war story. I feel like that was a major part of the book and it makes you determine whether you should believe what they are saying. You could talk bout if happening truth and story truth differ from each other and how they compare. you can compare if the media changes the story or differ from the real truth. Like you can say does TMZ actually get the right information when they put rumors out on the street. Does CNN change up how the war looks.

blog 22 group presentation

I feel like the whole class did the best they could by explaining a story we never went over with. This book is good but at the same time difficult to get what happen because it is being told in so many different views so that is why it was hard explaining something like this to a classroom, especially people who try to be comedians and make the class laugh. It is hard when someone is on a roll to tell them to stop. But we as a class was inconsiderate to the other groups so it actually look worse than how we performed. We gave them the information but they couldn’t get it. So every time we explained it to them they wanted to act like dummies. It made our jobs hardier because they did not read it like how we would for you. I feel like as a group we did the best we can to relay the information to the other classmates but we could have done better with the activities. But we did not use a video and we went most the class but I feel like you shouldn’t have jumped in our presentation like that at the end, it made us feel like we could not have got the job done and we had the information but you coming in at the end left the image of our project being bad. I feel like we did better than some of the other groups and you did not see that. But I feel like I could have done a better job of my own part. But I learned from this whole teaching thing is that your job is not easy. We should have connected the story to the other stories we heard earlier in the week because I remembered some things after we presented. But I think it is better to learn the material from a teacher then from other students because it didn’t stick when the classmates was telling the story.

A story means an account or recital of an event or a series of events, either true or fictitious. Stories have several meanings. They can be told at anytime of the hour. I feel that stories are not only for late hours of the night. Every moment of the day, you think of stories that pop up in your head from ideas, thoughts, pictures, and etc. You might also even tell those stories to others. I think about stories all the time because it gives me an outlet out of the real world. But I feel like the quote is partly correct because not only at night you think about where you were to where you are now. When I read that quote just now I thought about everything that made me who I am this very moment from playing flag football when I was little to the hard two a day practices to national signing day. So no, I do not think that this quote or statement on page thirty-six is correct. I am not really sure by what you mean by experience But I will try to answer that as best I can. My experience in story telling is alright. I think of stories everyday so I guess I could be good at what I do since I think about it every moment of the day. I have a lot experience from good to bad. I use my experience to help others like friends, family, and regular people who need the advice. When something bad happens to me and I think it is the end of the world I just say to myself I am blessed to be in this position because I might not have it as bad as the next person who is not as privileged to do something that I can do. For example, when I seen my friend’s brother hopping around on his hands and his legs are not strong enough to support him and he makes the most out of every moment of the day. I feel more and more blessed that I get to do what I do. So experience is what makes stories good.

My expectations are that I want to perform to the best i can be with my presentation. Hopefully I get the class to learn our part so they can understand what we are presenting. I expect that we present this to the top of our ability. I know we can do it as a group but we just have to put the work in so everyone in the group could present it and without any drop off and get it done. I think the class will do what they got to do and listen. I expect you to listen and be assertive and understanding.

He is speechless and he has to do something that he knows best which is to go to marijuana. So when he says he is going to roll up another one he is talking about a paper plane. So that is his answer to everything. i wouldn't recommend it.

poems?

why does poems exist, they exist because it helps express thoughts and feelings in a different way then just writing stories. Its a form of writing which can tell a story or a thought or an a experience that happen. People write poetry to get there point across. Poetry can never die as long as someone reads it. Its different then regular literature. It has a rhythm scheme which is creativity.
Song lyrics exist because people feel apart of the song and they have a relation between the two. Also the song lycris are catchy and have a nice connection to the lines. Like lil wayne said "what is the world without engima." which is saying how the world has puzzles and problems that need to be solve. They are important because people feel what the artist is saying. Some make you movitated to do things in life. So some songs do matter to me because they make me feel different emotions.When i listen to songs that make me wanna fight it change my whole emotion. Like when roscoe dash raps it make me feel like swagging out. Like different artists make me feel different like Wale make me feel like deep thinking. So i feel like poems do have a purpose in this world.
